MSC Cruises, the world’s largest privately-owned cruise company and leading cruise brand in Europe, South America, South Africa and the Gulf, yesterday kicked off its Global Environmental Officers Conference.
The Mediterranean, one of Europe’s most popular destinations known for its picturesque seascapes, continues to grow in popularity as a cruise destination and in particular, MSC Cruises, the world’s largest privately-owned cruise line and the market leader in Europe, has seen an increased demand from guests to discover Southern Italy.
Following the tragic road incident which occurred in Genoa on 14 August, traffic in the area is expected to be severely disrupted for several months, and guests may experience traffic delays when traveling to Genoa.
As a result of heavily disrupted traffic in the Genoa area, Guests are requested to take additional travel time into consideration. Alternative routes are available to reach Genoa Cruise Port, though traffic delays are likely on surrounding highways, including those serving the city.
